TRIBES
Youth Ministry Policies & Rules

What is TRIBES?

TRIBES is a weekly program designed to bring youth to Christ through recreation.  Each week youth compete in weekly challenges on teams called "tribes".  Players use their teams as a small group to invite their friends.  At the end of the summer, the teams compete in a tournament based on their win/loss record.  TRIBES contains instructions and ideas on how to play 40 team challenges and games.

TRIBES was created by Rusty Sizemore.  The rules, challenges and organizational structure of TRIBES have been field tested for eight years in two different churches.  TRIBES is now being used in youth groups and churches in 7 states.

Recommendations:

"I think TRIBES is a phenomenal program for middle and high school ministries.  I can not recommend it enough.  Our student ministry always went through the summer lull until we implemented TRIBES.  During that summer our attendance doubled.  Our students can't wait to do it again next year!!"

Robert Hope, Youth Director
Concord Baptist Church, Calera, Alabama
